• In order to deal with project goals, from the very beginning of the WG 5 activities have bee carried on to promote and establish effective contacts and relationships among partners and other interested subjects, in order to build up a real and easy exchange of information in a networking perspective.
• These contacts have been made possible through research missions, workshop activities, information exchange. • The relational activity is strongly related to the broader objectives of the project, namely (1) the developing of methodologies for promoting transfer of innovations from academia to enterprises, and (2) the need for best practices, information, services for SMEs.
• In order to promote relationships and exchanges among SMEs, researchers and administrators, several subjects (institutional and private) have been involved in project activities finalised to develop integration between academia and business.
• This was the first step of a community process for setting the conditions starting a network of relationship among Public Institutions, Research Centres, Scientific and Technological Parks, Enterprises and Business Associations in Europe and India.
• This web portal contains information related to the subjects which have been directly involved in WG5, and the way to contact them. The subjects have been divided in an “institutional” and a “companies” list.
• During project activities, these subjects have shared information regarding their organization, their products or provided services, their relationships with other subjects and context analysis, in order to implement a networking perspective and permit future contacts.
